Will my amp power these speakers properly?

hi yall. i have a build i will be starting soon on my nissan 350z. i have a kenwood 4 channel amp (excelon kac x40) from my previous build that i will be using. i am just shoping for the best speaker i can afford. right now i am leaning towards Image Dynamics xs65 component set.

my question for you guys is i am just running fronts in this car because the rears are too close to the headrests and the cabin is small. the speakers stat they are 4ohm. my amp says its capable of being bridged @ 200W x 2 @ 4ohm. is this the right match? i want to push 200W to each speaker. all i have to do is bridge the amp and i will achieve what i want?

Yes. If you want 200W to each side, bridge the amp and you will get 200W x 2 @ 4ohms.

Are you open to other suggestions for speakers? What year is the 350Z?

thanks for the replys. okay that is what i thought. since im running only fronts, i would be open to other sugguestions!. i am just researching which speaker in this category will be the best one to buy. its a 2006 base Z. other speakers other than ID would be fosgate T2652-S, heard some good reviews on a lower class speaker which is the jbl ms62c. the jbl i would be suspect of having too much Watts going to them.

also i might add, i have a mono amp powering 2 12" type Rs for lows. aftermarket hu, and dynamatted interior. what i want out of the this 6.5 speaker is to give me loud, clear audio, midbass is not 100% my aim here. because i have front speakers only, i am expecting paying more for a quality speaker to make up for the loss of rear fill, and to give me loud mids and highs.

also considering HERTZ® HSK 165 . would like the XL ones, but 3" mounting depth is too much and i dont want to get pods

You want a speaker that can safely be crossed over with a high pass filter under 100 Hz. You need midbass to have any chance of blending in with 2 12" Type Rs. At high output that is going to be impossible, but you don't want to unintentionally set yourself up for a big dip in the response between the upper bass and the midrange. That is why I now think JBL MS-62C is not a safe choice for you. JBL P660C would be a better choice if the cost needs to stay low.

I'm looking into a 2.6" deep 2-way set I can put together for you that will be loud and clear with good midrange and treble. I'll be in touch.

This is CDT MX-2MO-1". The woofers are 6.5" with a mounting depth of 2.6". This will do everything you need, and the woofers are designed to be tough enough to last a decade or more. Should you ever want to try a 3-way set, this is ready to be upgraded very easily to a 3-way. The midrange terminals will be left open unless you add CDT 2" or 3" midranges. The tweeters are 1" with silk domes.
