Will I see better performance with this box swap?

If i go from a 1.2 cu ft sealed box to a 1.9 cu ft ported box (tuned to 38hz by subzone) Would i see a big difference in sound? I'm using a 12" Solo Baric L7 ran off a 1000watt rms rockford (i keep the gain set to about 45-50% so everything will last) I'll lose some SQ but hopefully not too much. What kinda SPL gains will i get? Thanks in advance.
