will i need an extra battery?

running 2 12" subs that rms about 500 watts and the the 2 dash and 2 back speakers both rms at 100 watts and then 2 amps, 1 for the subs and 1 for the speakers so will i need to get an extra battery to hook it up to?

depends. What amps ? Have you done the big three upgrade yet? If you running alot of watts then you might want to.

1 is SoundStorm (SSL) STA135 (3500W Max Stealth Series Class D Monoblock) for the subs and the other is Sound Storm SSL F4.1200 (1200W Max, Force Series 4-Channel) for the speakers

I would upgrade all your wires to 1/0 gauge (Positive/Negative bat cables) and then to a distro block that converts to 4gauge.. Search around for the Big Three upgrade thread.

i was planning on it so there isnt any drop in volts, i just wasnt sure if i should just get a whole seperate battery for the system

looks like you're planning ~1200wrms. what front battery and what size alt? you need 1/0 for the mono, 4ga should be fine for the 4ch. the (fused) distro is a good idea. big three will help a lot. i say hook it all up, do the big three , and if it dims then add another battery.
