Will deadener fix this?

When my sub hits I can hear the back of the car vibrating/rattling...its the part between my back seats and the trunk...well actually above the trunk, before the rear window. (Where the rear speakers are) I think the covering over that area is hitting the metal surface that holds the speakers. But I'm not sure.

Will putting deadener in the trunk on the bottom of the metal surface that holds the speakers stop this from happening?
