marketing really. Caps are cheap to make, easy to resell and to the uninformed they "work"

not exactly. hard to explain, i'll let someone else explain.

but basically a cap is completely useless for this application right now. in the SPL world cap is junk. when you start getting into SQ a cap will come in handy at the final stages.

AC filters are 1 use. Caps have many uses in digital electronics, take a look any pcb and you'll see a ton of em.

Meh I like capacitors, and from what I understand about what they do; I think they are useful. People ALWAYS try to give reasons why it just "Adds more strain on your altenator" or "adds to the problem" Then they hypocrite themselves by saying "Get an extra battery." I know full well that most people just hop on the "Caps are band-aids"-band wagon for the haul. But I support caps and I wont be moved.

Thanks for the heads up. Everyone on here is capacitor hater.... but they are also JL haters so I am reluctant to believe these bandwagoneers!
Some people say capacitor helps...

Others swear it is useless bling...

I think it might help my very minor dimming issues.... All advice is appreciated

People also said that ground loop isolators are also a band aid and useless.... but it worked for me!!

no offence OP, but why make a thread asking a question when you already know what you're gonna do? why ask if a cap will work, and when we tell you no, you say that you think it will
