will big 3 and new battery help that much?

so doing the big 3 and changing out the battery will get you to sit at a higher voltage with the car running? i could see both reducing voltage dips but they will make the overall voltage sit higher as well?

With no major draw on the system.... no. That would mean the car manufacturer designed a charging system that wouldn't even be adequate for the car itself.
Doing the 'big 3' allows us to run the excess amounts of extra current through the wiring/charging system that it was never designed for. I think I am repeating myself here when I say the big-3 is not required to allow your stock charging system to sit at over 14 volts at idle, assume a 'stock' drain on the system.

They do make deep cycle red tops they just arnt a common carried item at stores as they are about $50 more expensive than a yellow top
Have a link?

INdeed. I'd be interested in seeing this deep cycle red top, that isn't even listed on optima's site...

i bought a duralast deep cycle battery last night for under the hood 1000 CA 850 CCA 180 Reserve and 120 amp..... thats going under the hood.. my stock battery is 500CCA.. so im putting the dualast and the big 3 see what happends!

your money would be much better spent upgrading your alternator than your battery unless your planning on playing your stereo with your car off a lot
