Will a line driver help my system?

I have a Mazda 3 and previously the system was running off of the stock headunit with a David Navone line-level converter that had a line-output of 9V. Now I have replaced the stock headunit with a Kenwood DDX-7019 and it has pre-amp outputs with 2 volts. It seems like I have lost some high-end detail with the new headunit and I was wondering if a line driver can help the system. From what I have read the line drivers help reduce the chance of loss of detail and reduce the noise floor. So will a line driver help and what's a good one to get?

I want to say yes, but I'm sort of biased because I would like to sell you mine. I have one that is 13.5v line out...
How about some more info on what you have? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
