they power output flexes with the ohm load that the amp sees. the lower the ohm, the more it backs the power off to avoid overheating. the deliver power, as long as you keep them at 4 ohms. but when you drop them to say 2 ohms, they wont put out as much. try it on a dmm with a 2 ohm load or a 4 ohm load if that is possible for you to do with your sub configuration. for those of you that have JL amps. you will be suprised.What r u talking about, JL's power does not change at all. 1.5- 4 ohms, 10-14.5 volts. Power always stays at 500watts. R.I.P.S Very unique amps, 12w7 in H.O box hits 134 on the TL off of the 500/1.
