Wii owners, I need a must have list for games

so i ended up getting a wii for my bday... ( one of those gifts i actually didnt want for a few reasons )

I have a 52" samsung series 7, and when tv s are that big with a system that stretches a 480i/ 480p image , it sucks

Its component , no hdmi, or HD

And i heard the new wii will be out by 2011 , so im sure by the time i get all setup with this sytem after probably a grand or so into it, the new Completely re done will come out.. Which does look pretty sweet..

All motion sensing , HD new format controllers and controls etc.. Supposed to be just sick with near $500 million in R&D

Anywho, I need a game list.. the only thing i got was the wii and my girl picked up the fit, and i bought 2 classic controllers another wiimote and nun chuk and 4000 wii points for all the old school nintendo games

So what are some must have games

rock star table tennis game. the whole bar is into it now. People are doing stretches and warm ups while waiting for their turn its silly.

I dunno wtf yer talking about with the TV problem.. I have my wii hooked up to a 60" and it looks just fine.

I dunno wtf yer talking about with the TV problem.. I have my wii hooked up to a 60" and it looks just fine.

what 60" lcd, plasma crt and dlp all show different , with lcd being the worst of them.. my buddys 55" samsung series 9 ( Samsungs highest end tv , last year ) fully calibrated , and still looked like crap , 360, ps3 BR, all look sweet , but once you stretch the image it gets real choppy and pixleated....

i mean all together not me personally spend that , but the system wii , fit, controllers games and points are already up to 500, and i havent even purchased a game yet

And im computer illiterate ... every time i try to download a game it never works.. I go to a torrent site and it wont ever transfer..

and also where i live im about 5-10 miles out of city limits so the highest speed internet i have is 1.5 mbps

yea that looks good, different , but good

I just want mostly interactive wii games, anything thats available on a 360 i would never get on a wii, since its the only system that puts out 1080p

But like a few other ppl said , mario kart, zelda: twilight princess, smash bros, wii play, raving rabbids... look real good

You said you got the Wii for your b-day? So technically if you didn't pay for it it didn't cost you anything. so why would you add that to the total?

Also check your settings and use the cables that come with the Wii.. The Wii has shitty graphics it will never look like a PS3..

But on my 60" Samsung it looks just fine.. It doesn't stretch..

just put like $100 into the virtual console and get all the throw back games and re-live your childhood. it's f'n awesome.

im using the cables than came with it and it looks descent, obviously i never thought it would look as good as a 360..

Another thing.. the memory slot in the front... Instead of paying for a large sd card, could i just use the usb on the back for a 320 gb external HD ?

Not sure if i want to buy all the anthologies for these for ps2 or if they have them for wii but there are a TON of good anthologies.. But my old *** enjoyes the older games more than alot of the newer ones... Maybe theyll get some atari Virtual console games goin haha

what is super smash brothers anyways?? seems to be very highly rated everywhere
