Wierd Setup

i theory, that would make the pair 2ohm stable, but variances, etc, could make the amp kill itself, or at the least a huge nitemare trying to sync the 2 channels. what you can do, is look for a line transformer used in home audio. get as close to the power range as possible. they are common to either turn 2channels into one mono. pay attention., as there are also different combinations that change ohm loads, so you can make an 8ohm stable channel handle a pair of 8ohm speakers, etc. i think it's labeled as 1+1:2, not 1+1:1.... what would be way cheaper is another run of wire, or terminals, but, if you don't want to do that, and don't want to go through the motions of trading, that would be the best option. if you are patient, i can have an amp for trade no problem.

Id sit down and figure out exactly what all you will be installing for amperage consumption and add another 10-15% amperage useage on top of that...
