Hi guys,
I'm hoping someone can help me out. I installed a new Kenwood deck, no amp, and a pair of Excelon speakers.
The sound is nice and crisp, good power, I soldered all connections, and used heat shrink tubing, along with an extra ground wire going straight to the firewall. Straight forward install done the right way from what I can tell.
the truck is a Ford Ranger regular cab, and had the basic stereo, so no factory amp or anything else.
Every few times I start the truck, the stereo turns on, but no sound comes out...CD, radio, same thing.
Any ideas?
