Kenwood Excelon KDC-X995 Issue

Need to know what sub your running. How the amps gain was sent along with the lowpass filter and the subsonic filter. Head unit settings should be flat eq, loud should be off, and the subwoofer adjustment should be at max level not to be confused with bass boost. Never use bass boost if you don't know why search bass boost in the upper right corner of the screen. If you can get a pick of the amplifiers dials as currently set and confirm the head unit settings are correct we can better diagnose the problem.

This could be a number of problems. You need to start at the hi rcas and work your way back on a low volume like 5 playing a tone. A volt meter might not read low enough so I'd recommend an o scope. It might not be the hi that is the issue.
