The ONYX series replaced the Discus and the ONX4.125 is the replacement for the DSC4125.

New cosmetics and still 4 x 125 watts RMS

Is there any behind the scenes discussion at Maxxsonics about an ONYX version of the DSC2000.1d? All the other DSC models seemed to have been transitioned to ONYX, I would think the same would be possible with the 2000.1d.

I actually like the cosmetics of the ONYX series better than the DSC.

^A rep said the dsc2000 is being replaced by an onyx version but not sure when it will drop but idk why they discontinue the stuff that sells and works well often to be replaced with an inferior replacement

Yep, there will be a replacement for the DSC2000.1D as well.

By far, most people prefer the ONYX cosmetics.

We sell nearly 2-1 ONYX over Discus which is actually better then we anticipated.

We made the decision because we knew the ONYX would be a better look.

Turns out to be a great decision.

i do NOT see the new line doing rated and also they raised the prices. i highly doubt it is seelling that well...attleast i havent seen a threead on here from one of our 60,000 memebers saying they bought one....so not one person out of our 60,000+ members has bought one yet...but we all own somethign from the dsc line //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

You are selling 2-1 when the price went up 10 times the old price? What kind of hot sauce are you pouring? I call bs either on the price or his post. I would never, let me say that again NEVER pay $999 for that amp when I got mine for $130 NEW... roflmao

Oh well, I guess the MB Quart boner was fun while it lasted. I don't see prices going back down that low again; Maxxsonics prices have gone way up: first the Hifonics BRZ series, now the MB Quart Onyx.
