All I can say is Eclipse makes some of the best HU's you can get that aren't ridiculously old, so you can't go wrong with em!

If I were going to look at a cheap piece of equipment and something other than Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer this would be it...

Soundstream in-dash was the biggest piece of **** I've bought in a decade or more. The Jensen in dash multimedia stuff is actually quite nice on a budget. I haven't got particularly long life out of them (then again I drive about 40,000 miles a year), so a year and a half tops before they start breaking, but for the same price they actually work well while they hold up.
