why isn't this loud?!

ok yeah we went back and looked at everything, switched amps... the sub is barely moving, but we set the gains right and it sounds alright from the trunk, but in the car its not very loud :-/

but then we went and listened to my D9 from my hatch and it sounded comparable to his from the same listening distance, i think the problem is the fact that his is in his trunk and mine is in an SUV so mine sounds much louder inside the car

oh, and even with my sub turned up all the way, mine barely moves (off 600 watts) and with his on full tilt, his moves much more, but still not very much... (off the bx1500d) so i think everything is set right.

i had my type R wired at 2 ohm off 900 watts in a box outside my car on a cement floor and it shook my car just fine

Can you draw us a diagram of how you have it wired? And are you *sure* you have a dual 4 ohm sub? Just trying to cover all the bases.

also dont be scared to play with the bassboost, i never needed it but its always an option
