sounds good to me

i think we are gonna swap amps tomorrow and see what the deal is. and check the wiring on the sub

its like a small cable that connects the voice coils and lets you choose between how you want to wire the subs (2 ohms or 8 ohms)...basically a small speaker wire, the voice coil connections are right next to each other

yeah i'm not sure what it would be but i actually have my type R on 400 RMS at 4 ohms and it hits pretty hard in a small prefab ported box...granted my car is kinda open since its a hatchback not a trunk, but still....its even kinda loud outside the car

After you double check all your connections, swap the amp or swap the sub. Easiest way to nail down where your problem is is to change the components //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Remember to take the scientific approach... Only have one idependent variable at a time now. I'd definitely go with just putting your amp in his car and seeing if its any louder.

Dmm the coil

Swap the amp if its wired right.

Swap amp back and change sub if that doesnt fix it.

Come to my house if you need a 12" I have an extra mag sitting in the garage that can handle 1kw. EDIT...its a D2 so it would have to be wired at 1 or 4 ohms.
