Why is the radio louder than my CD's?

I know on my 8445 and 8455, you can adjust the sensitivity between AUX, CD, memory stick, radio, etc. Possibly you have the one on the radio all the way up?

the aux sensitivity has to do with when you hook up an input jack for an ipod or something. i was cheap and didn't want to buy the ipod adapter plus i like controlling the music on my ipod rather than on the headunit. there are 3 settings, low med and high. every setting just makes it louder. i think it has something to do with the amount of ohms that the aux is set at.

Ok so from reading that, the Source Volume Control is set at default 40. On FM it is 40, AM its +15, and CD is -10. So to compensate for this, should I set SVC to +10 for the CD's?

ok NOW i feel stupid. i always knew svc was there but i never knew what it stood for. the 2 never clicked. lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
