Why is Norcal better than Socal?

hahah but the thing is..is that socal doesnt really need to say "socal ftw"!

i realized this cuase my sister went up north for college, and that was the first tim i ever heard the rivals between norcal and socal. but apparently, its been discussed frequently up north. as the logic in the song "**** it feels good to be a gangster" by ghetoto boys..

one thing about socal (and the US and Mexico for that matter) is that it is only good in small doses (like a rich chocolate cake) but when you miss it you really miss it; I think 2 years out, 6mo in socal is just about the right ratio.

^^^ this is exactly right, i think, I lived down there a little more than a year and I couldnt wait to get the hell out, but now I wanna go back down but could not imagine having to live there again

I grew up in the Bay Area, went to college in Fresno, and now have lived in socal (LA/OC/IE) for seven years.

There is lots more to do in socal, but I prefer northern california (I think calling it norcal is lame) for the more laid back lifestyle and less traffic. I really miss the beaches up there too (Santa Cruz, Capitola).
