why is my 1500 watt 15" in a trail blazer sounds weaker then 1000 watt 12" in a car

ya what are the specs on ur box?

box doesn't matter when it comes to good bass, as long as you have 15's or bigger, and 2000 max watts. the boxes that 15's are packaged in are big enough, and cardboard is way lighter than that pesky mdf.

You proberly have the ohms backwards. If he hooked you up, he's gunna huk you up to be weaker than him. So his 12s will pwn on yur 15s. Thats what i wud do.

You shoulda seen the size of the box my Cvr 15"s came in dude, just made the cutouts on the corrugated box (has to be corrugated) for the subs, and I went baller status with the aero port for them dbz. Gave her 1500 wattz and they was bangin like Steve meade, loudness feat on the h/u makes em hitem high, baby high

suvs get louder than trunked cars because of the open cabin, most of the time and depending on the equipment.
Ur stuff should def be louder but if u dont have ur shit installed right, some funky pups could run over ur system.

What type of box?specs?

What kind of amp?model?

What type of subs? VC?

How do u have them wired?

I honestly don't know the specs for the box, I bought it with the subs

wired down to one ohm

also, I never did anything to my altenator or battery, it is all stocked, could that be a reason that it isn't doing it's full potential?
