why is it louder int he back!?

i am running a panasonic 50wX4 deck and two sony 6X9 3 way speakers in the back with 240 watts peak power and 50 watt rms and in the front i have 2 infinity 6.5 2 way speakers with 60 rms and 180 watts peak power. And everytime i have my cd in or something it is a ton louder in the back and i can barely even hear the front speakers! All of the lyrics that come from the music sound like they are comin from the back seat! how do i fix it?!

1) They're getting around 25 RMS.

chances are your 6x9's are a little more efficent than your 6.5's, also you have more surface area with the 6x9's.
