Anyone have tips on being louder on the meter ? (SPL numbers)

Sorry, but after 1k watts I don't use the trunk anymore. You waste too much energy, and you'll be fixing a new rattle every week.

The sub and the port needs to vent directly to the cabin and the cabin needs to be sealed off from the trunk.

I don't know how you're going to do this with a box that has a vent on the side like that.

Sounds like you need a new box.
im not looking to seal off im trying to stay out of wall classes and plan on staying in trunk classes
 
I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but you can removed all bass absorbing material from the inside, such as carpet and cushioned seats. Also, do what you can to make the cab space smaller, such as add fiberglass seats, add hardwood door panels, put a 3/4" thick sheet of plywood across the ceiling, fire the subs forward and seal around the box to prevent bass from going further into the trunk, etc...
