I like this statement though I would like to see some sort of proofw7> anything in sundowns line up ( In terms of overall output while retaining sq)
w7> anything in sundowns line up for spl (besides a nightshade)
and dont get me started on those slash amps..1 w7 with 1 1000/1 in a good box can produce some serious numbers
I buy all my stuff used or broken so I think everything is overpriced
Well sq is subjective so there is really no numbers to prove this, besides the general consensus that would agree that they sound better..I like this statement though I would like to see some sort of proof

as for as spl again it would be hard to test this because most people do not buy JL to compete with, I have heard plenty of subs, owned hundreds, and still compete, where im from its rare that anybody that runs sundown subs actually wins anything..Alot of people run there amps tho..
I have played with sd,sa,z's, and nightshades. w6's, and w7's and im just saying as unbiased as i can be that a w7 with a clean 1k in a spl geared setup would be able to keep up with any sundown sub *besides a nightshade) in a spl geared setup on the same power
Most ppl that say this or that have never owned half the products they talk about, just because u heard one in a buddys car or at a show doesnt mean it was the best setup for the driver, different goals require different things.there are lots of factors that play into the way a setup soundsIve owned a ton but never sundown YET someday when I find a deal I like id like to own them however I've heard them a few times never a nightshade
But I've had 4 w7s and ownly put maybe 700 into each 12 and it was the most ridiculously loud set up I've owned and sounded AMAZING on anything from techno to country they would get down and sound great. Most everything else I've owned didn't have anywhere the range of play with the output in every genre as my w7s not even on full power or ideal electrical to be honest
My favorite is when they nuthug a product that hasn't even been released yet. Most ppl that say this or that have never owned half the products they talk about, just because u heard one in a buddys car or at a show doesnt mean it was the best setup for the driver, different goals require different things.there are lots of factors that play into the way a setup sounds

sorry. i would say not by sub ratings and such but by the companies personal class i would compare an XFL to the SA line of sundown which btw has been WAY more impressive to me.@des343, can you answer the question I posted for you on page 5, I'm very curious as to this???
dude if i was in the business of being that immature id be saying ive owned Sundown and everything else out there...im not got pics to prove a lot of it.Most ppl that say this or that have never owned half the products they talk about, just because u heard one in a buddys car or at a show doesnt mean it was the best setup for the driver, different goals require different things.there are lots of factors that play into the way a setup sounds
