why is everyone

The zenon based amps are nice but nothin special hell 20-30 amps use the same base, the slash amps are very unique and i cant think of another brand that uses this tech in the way they do ( The PG xenons used a different platform)

Both waffles and pancakes are pretty good, that's a really hard question.

Eggo makes some good waffles, so I think I have to go with waffles. And i get my music from waffles too, so that's another plus for waffles. Also waffles have the little ridges in them, so the syrup kinda stays on the waffle.

w7> anything in sundowns line up ( In terms of overall output while retaining sq)
w7> anything in sundowns line up for spl (besides a nightshade)

and dont get me started on those slash amps..1 w7 with 1 1000/1 in a good box can produce some serious numbers

I buy all my stuff used or broken so I think everything is overpriced
I like this statement though I would like to see some sort of proof

Well sq is subjective so there is really no numbers to prove this, besides the general consensus that would agree that they sound better..

as for as spl again it would be hard to test this because most people do not buy JL to compete with, I have heard plenty of subs, owned hundreds, and still compete, where im from its rare that anybody that runs sundown subs actually wins anything..Alot of people run there amps tho..

I have played with sd,sa,z's, and nightshades. w6's, and w7's and im just saying as unbiased as i can be that a w7 with a clean 1k in a spl geared setup would be able to keep up with any sundown sub *besides a nightshade) in a spl geared setup on the same power

Ive owned a ton but never sundown YET someday when I find a deal I like id like to own them however I've heard them a few times never a nightshade

But I've had 4 w7s and ownly put maybe 700 into each 12 and it was the most ridiculously loud set up I've owned and sounded AMAZING on anything from techno to country they would get down and sound great. Most everything else I've owned didn't have anywhere the range of play with the output in every genre as my w7s not even on full power or ideal electrical to be honest

Most ppl that say this or that have never owned half the products they talk about, just because u heard one in a buddys car or at a show doesnt mean it was the best setup for the driver, different goals require different things.there are lots of factors that play into the way a setup sounds

My favorite is when they nuthug a product that hasn't even been released yet.

@des343, can you answer the question I posted for you on page 5, I'm very curious as to this???
sorry. i would say not by sub ratings and such but by the companies personal class i would compare an XFL to the SA line of sundown which btw has been WAY more impressive to me.

ive had the American Bass DX 15s rating for 500 and i put around 1100 into them daily in a WAY oversized sealed box and it took all of it flawlessly even with turtle wax lids as replacment dust caps haha

and as far as people saying the set up wasnt good..granted there may very well be better set ups with the same subs but the set ups ive heard of SA were certainly not a sloppy thrown together setup!

dude if i was in the business of being that immature id be saying ive owned Sundown and everything else out there...im not got pics to prove a lot of it.

wish i had kept up on my records more as far as demo vids (i such at those so i NEVER do them got some of my w7s tho) and some Audiobahn tens i used to put 1000 rms into daily subs were tens years old when i had them still took over rated daily.

i get exactly where your coming from but trust im not trying to impress anyone! or i wouldnt make this knowingly very unpopular statement about Sundown and other products like em

OP you seem very confused, probably the reason you love men instead of women.

The JL 1200/1 retails for $1200 and the Sundown 2500d retails for $800, you get twice the power with Sundown for $400 less and you claim they are overpriced?

o yea, JL gives you a 90 day warranty if installed by the consumer, Sundown gives you a 2 year.
