the RCA output noise is the only real problem ive had with mine, wich was also easily fixed by ground looping

I'm hardcore on Pioneer's CD players. Can't beat em for the price.

I was too....

started with a DEH-P600, then later an 860mp (went through 3 of them), then to an 880prs, back to an 860mp, then to an eclipse cd7100, back to a 860mp, and finally found what I've always wanted in an active deck and any deck for that matter with the new one I got. Before I bought my newest deck I put one from the same company into my gf's car, and for a bottom line deck it was amazing, sounded great, tuning was easy, and the fit and finish was 10x better than the high end pioneers. I couldn't wait to get the one for my car! I am over the pioneer hype now.

Only thing people don't really like about them is tha ground problem.. IIRC.

All you have to do to fix that is a simple wire.

I don't like them because of the cheap made knobs that break off when you adjust them...or the numerous RCA problems where they get noise and stuff to the amps...plus the amplifier chip blows easily

i agree on the new knobs... same as kenwood... i had one a kenwood before and wanted a new one and returned for my pioneer 4800. now i got a 2900.. same features but much easier to use

I have an 880prs, and I switched back to Alpines 9855, Eventhough they are both gay...Glidetouch>That multi control bullshit.

but i do not have issues... how is the ground problem sounding? mine has none... really odd... even the 4800 was fine...

i also agree with most of you... i hate the gay colors... that is why i went with teh 4800 and now the 2900... fits the colors of my focus inside better and i do not want a flash light in my face while driving...

That glide touch shit is a joke, I'd much rather have the multicontrol, but the 9887 controls own both.

Becuase glide touch doesn't work when its hot... If the headunit face gets to hot the glide touch freaks out... plus it wears out easily i dunno.

I hate joystick knobs...

they break and get flimsy and u never hit the write thing...

of all the decks ever I loved IVA-w200/205 the best for controling things... tobad it was a pos SQ unit.
