Why I am saving money

I vote new SAX-100.4 for components, fully active.
Something not Pioneer for the deck... perhaps a higher end Alpine:

Something like that.
Can't loose with suggestions like these. Solid amps for sure and hard to beat for the money. If you got money in hand I wouldn't think twice about this right here, http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50638 Honestly I have to hold myself back from buying a SECOND 100.4 to throw on a pair of 8" mids lol, so buy one of those and help out both Jake and myself lol.

Same with Alpine Solid choice.

Plenty of reading on crossovers can be found on this site, its actually quite simple ones you read a bit about it, essentially the crossovers are filters that allow certain ranges of the musical spectrum to pass to the speaker that is best suited for playing that range of music.

Passive crossovers will be simply plug and play, wire the amp to the crossover and then the crossover to the speaker, should be labeled right on the crossover as well as in the manual, just follow the directions and take your time and your good.

Going active will take a little bit more thinking and for-thought but nothing too major.

I think it'd be a good choice. Especially for $230. 60 watts rms by 4's not bad. I've seen worse recommendations.
Well a kicker zx350.4 can be had for $200 brand new, and will do 175 x 2 at 4 ohms bridged, and is a pretty nice amp... so no i'm pretty sure the amp you suggested is terrible lol

Dude your a rump ranger. I'd keep your shit to yourself, the world would be a better place. First guess I'd say old burton likes the hershey highway.
haha lmao because you make retard recommendations to people? Maybe if you didn't suggest shit amps, people wouldn't give you shit in their replies!!?!?!? But I forgot, that might require a brain

Lol, I recommend a lot of arc audio amps as well, you gonna call those shit amps.
you can recommend all you want, but if you don't have any experience w/ what you're recommending, it doesn't mean shit other than hearsay.

60 watts for that price???? I think you might be on crack, that may be the worst amp he could buy.
I agree. That is not enough wattage for what i need. Why did you recomend that amp? As the OP please stop defending your lousy recommendation. Its flooding my **** thread:smash:

I gotta agree with you on this one.

For a 4 channel amp, I would suggest the Eclipse XA4000. It's a great amp, and one is on ebay new now. Not the EA4100, it has to be the XA4000. Can be had for under 200 bucks. Even has a clipping indicator on top.
