Epicenter or Line Driver?

I've heard of people using these to make songs that don't have bass have bass, and just to give the subs a better sound and get them a little louder. My only problem is, I've heard people say epicenter, and some say line driver. But from what I've looked at, they don't look the same. Could someone explaing to me what each of these things do so I can make a decision on what to buy?

epicenter's restore bass where it is needed and line drivers act as almost basically a bass booster and it depends on what you want to do as well

My main purpose is just to add bass where it barely is, and just to get louder overall. There's a kid I know that put a line driver in (again not sure if it was a line driver or epicenter) and it got him 2 db louder on the TL after he tuned it.

what kinf of music do you listen to mostly

If you get an epicenter get the audiocontrol epic-160. It has a db meter and a volt meter built in as well as the epicenter. I have one but I don't use the epicenter part of it. Just the meter for tuning and tweaking.

if you mostly listen to country and rock i would get the epicenter you will notice a big improvement on teh bass response i have one and its great

Ok. I've been looking at the Soundstream BX-15. Has anyone had any experience with this unit?
