Why Does my Radio not work?

Thanks for droppin in. I installed my HU and my radio worked for a little bit then not at all. So this morning i took it out and reinstalled everything. No activity from the radio whatsoever not even static.

Did you check your fuses?

i changed them about 2-3 wks ago. So i would hope they havent blown yet. Il look and post what i see.

All fuses look good. Is there a color of wire for the radio?

All wires seem to be connected properly. There was a wire that appeared to be blk that was lose and i handle that. It was for my right dash speaker. The radio does not work still...

If any speaker wire touches and is grounded out...the radio will quit playing....It shorts the internal amplifier chip....

Is there any way to fix that? Cause i want my radio to play. Maybe i will have to deal with it till i can buy a nice one. Hope not though...

Yes my head unit turn on just when i am searching for a station no reception comes through

Dumb question, but, is the antenna plugged in??

the antenna is definetly plugged in a have rechecked and rechecked. The antenna extense with the turn of the ignition. THe Head UNit turns on the cd player works but no reception from the radio

its a dual thats why it doesnt work.
