Why Does my Amp Keep blowing Fuses?

You need a more powerful amp to power those subs properly(or the way you're wanting to). You're more than likely just overdriving the amp to the point where it blows fuses.

there is a formula, but i am too drunk to remember it right now

but umm ya, set your phase back to normal and set your low pass at about 60-80hz depending on your front stage

why do you need to turn your amp past 10-15%? it will only get so loud before it clips and blows fuses

seriously? but i cant wire 1 sub to 1ohm. and i want to get the full power out of my amp which is @ 1ohm....right?

and what about the subsonic frequency? how do i tune that?

Turn the subsonic off. Don't need to worry bout hurting that sub. IMO

I'd try running straight to the amp and use the amps crossover and HU settings.

That crossover is garbage... throw it AWAY... you do NOT need it... your amp has a crossover

You need to go to a shop pay $60 and have them set your stuff up... I understand you are new but you have absolutely NO business being anywhere near an amplifier....

or

find a senior forum member that lives near by and throw them $20 to do it for ya..

just PLEASE don't try to "tune" your amp anymore... in fact don't even look at it...

I got 2 hifonics goliath 15's....on a Directed 1100d @ 1ohm. I cant turn the amp volume up past 10-15%. Anything higher than that and the two 40 fuses in the Directed amp blow. i went through at least 15 packages of 5 40fuses since i've the setup...which has been a week now
BTW. My lights dimm like crazy when i try 2 turn the amp up too. they already dim a lot when the amps at 10-15%

Didn't you realize there was a problem after like the first 10 or 12 packages of fuses?
