Well I just got my car to a point where I am happy with it, and now may move into tubes. My roommate here is a rediculous home theater junkie and we talk about such things all day long. Some of the tube amps available are amazing, the amounts of power they use boggle the mind, and the soundstage is unbeliveable. I would love to start witha simple one and try it myself, but no luck yet.

Honestly i think i enjoy planning it out, researching, and then putting it all in than actually having a system. that's why i dont understand why everyone has bestbuy or some random goon rip up thier cars and do it for them. i love taking pride in my work, and the piece of mind that it was done correctly the first time.

and then if something does go wrong i can fix it myself

And besides, what's the point of listening to music if it can't be enjoyed to it's fullest extent?

Oh, and i like annoying my girlfriend

I use my car audio setup as a reference for my music. I compose instrumentals, and thiers nothing like a decent car setup that can tell you how your low end sounds.
