I drop from 15-15.1 to 14.1-14.2 at most and my lights still dim? Is it just the difference in voltage?
See that's what I've been doing too. Idk, I think that's just the way it is.Maybe they are behind something with a ton of resistance? Maybe they aren't actually dimming, you are giving them so much that they hit a certain point and flash brighter, then you break down below that threshold and they go back to normal operating intensity?
No clue, just spouting ideas.

Maybe I should get a capacitor //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
HAHAHAHA, I was just about to say, get a cap for those lights...See that's what I've been doing too. Idk, I think that's just the way it is.

I have a 300 amp alt charging at around 15v and a batcap 3k and 3 batcap 2k's, 4 runs of 0 gauge, .5" thick solid copper bus bars, I though I was done with dimming //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gifI dimmed heavily off of just 1500 watts on my factory alternator with a kinetik 2400 as backup. I installed my HIDs and they didn't dim when I was pushing low 12's. The interior lights still would get pretty flashy but my headlights never budged. I have them ran off of the front hc1200 and ground by a 12 gauge wire to the strut tower. I have an $80 Kensun set too.
That's actually worth trying. Best idea I've heard today! My guess is that your lights no matter the voltage just act to the drop. Most cars were not designed for system to be put in them so the manufacturers wire everything to function with steady voltage. (whether it be high or low voltage) I bet if you did some sort of "BIG 3" for your lights wiring they would be fine.
