Only problem ive had (as a buyer) was back in 06ish i was bidding on a mmats dhcx2200.05. When i got the box it had a 1400.05 in it! Dude said he made a mistake n got address' mixed up. So i sent it back... Week goes bye, i got the same package back?! Said return to sender... Later that day i get another package with the 2200.05 in it! All in all dude was arrested for fraud, got money back and got to keep the amps.!! Hehe. There was alot ALOT more to the story bout his illegal activites...

well straight up i have to pay more money to get the amp fixed and have it looked at what im going to do is have ampmedic tell me what need needs replaced and try my hand at fixing it cause he quoted me 150-180 to get it fixed and i think that is very expensive im just going to have him send me the report of whats wrong and then im going to send it back to soundstream and have them repair it unless i can get someone on here to repair it cheaper

Same thing happened when I sold my US Amp AX3000DE on ebay. Some lady bought it for her son. They fried the **** OUT OF THE guts and sent it back without a single message and opened a case. I had proof of it working and a receipt of it being repaired. So ebay sided with me and got to keep the money.

And something similar happened when I sold my JL 12W7. The guy wanted a refund because the vent pole had rust on it. Ebay sided with me.

They will side with you. But it will be a few weeks. It is SOOOOOO GAY.

I would keep calling paypal and disputing the whole thing with them. Did you present your evidence? The vid of it working, the buyers email saying it worked, the ad stating it was as-is etc. . . Also, did they issue the refund befoe you received the amp back? If they did, they should be held liable since they said the refund would only be issued if it was sent back in the same condition!

if you read all the story you would know the amp is being sent to a amp repair for analysis and i have to appeal the dispute ! Some how all the videos and picture i submitted to paypal got thrown out and they didn't care i listed it as is he got a refund

I read everything.. no where did you mention you presented your evidence. If he doesn't have his paypal connected to an active bank account an appeal does no good. And as I stated, they said the refund would be issued upon you receiving the amp in the same condition, which they didnt give you a chance to get the amp so they screwed you on that. Luckily I have never had an issue like this...buut if I did, paypal would never hear the end of it until they made things right!

Having the amp looked at proves nothing more than the amp is blown. It doesn't solve the problem because it doesn't tell when/who blew it... I'm not understanding how that resolves the issue. no it will tell the story! he got the amp working as he admitted and blew it . i talked to amp medic on the phone and he said he would be able to give me a detail report of why it blew proving that he blew the amp . As he said he got the amp working . and it fried there had to be a reason why which i know once i got it back he had the **** bass boost to the max and the gain all the way up , If it was due to under voltage it will be in his report which i can send to paypal and get my money back ! he didn't even tune the dam thing at all just cranked it up and played it im sure on regular voltage in his car and blew it . their is no way my car had it under voltage i have a mechman 270 amp alternator and 60 amp kinetic charger . with a kinetic khc 1800 under the hood and 3800 in the trunk

I understand they can give a general idea of what happened to the amp, but how does that prove the buyer fried it? I know he admitted it worked but that wasn't good enough the first time so why would it be now?
