No one is irreplaceable. That is a very complacent attitude to have.

I am able to accomplish something the person who in my previous position couldn

t....but now that I have layed the foundation, I am easily replaced. I think they could replace me with a chicken or stuffed animal.

Very true.

I've made it a practice to show no one what I really do at work. Since I am the only person who works in my department (two-way radios) I feel that I have a high level of job security.

i was being cocky... haha, i know someone else could do my job, but like i said... not at what i'm getting paid. he'd be a fool to cut me and pay someone more to do this. plus the guy i replaced had the attitude "you only get ~10% of what you bid" and i bid everything to win

They don't have access to any public website.
If they have a question they are supposed to call the manager on duty to find out the answer.

In our area the Wireless is complicated. Plus, we get mandates from the big "V" on what we are supposed to say and not say. We randomly get shopped and a couple of dealers in our area got fined because their employees told the secret shopper something things they shouldn't have.

99% of customer problems however are repeated things. Burnt up batteries, dropped phones, water damage, etc etc. So no google is needed.

Plus what you find on google in a quick search might not always be the truth.

The additonal shipping cost, fee, and agency risk of HoldersX make such a mechanism practically worthless. Unless it was something I couldn't find elsewhere.

This could be true.

But, I think with the proliferation of scams and scammers a service like this would be nice.

There is insurance if your home gets broken into, there is insurance on your money at the bank, if someone steals your CC your CC company will sometimes help you out.

But, there is no insurance with online sales. Meh. One of the many many reasons I buy local.

Indeed. I find paypal to be useless sometimes. I've been waiting since last Wednesday for a payment to go through.
