I was thinking there is a site I go to that won't let you use proxies. I can't remember which one it is.

But, why do we need proxies?

So banned people can log in? So kids can log in at school? So people can log in at work? So S&S (spammers & scammer) can rejoin? So Icet can rejoin?

What percentage of the people who make up the bulk of traffic and posts are at work or school? I'd say 40% at the minimum. I doubt much of the traffic generated...especially before noon are people surfing from home.

From a business POV, it makes sense. However, I do not mind the rule against posting from a proxy. They know every site I go to anyway. From my perspective there is no difference between me doing this and the others talking about the latest turn on a reality television show.
