Cadillac Deville SLS

I found a caddy deville 1999 for about $4000. Its sitting on some really nice 22s and has 170000 miles on it. Do you guys think thats a good deal? Also i'm in Canada and the cars in florida so I would need to either have it shipped up here of fly down and drive it back. Its also all black with limo tint on all windows. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't touch a 170K Cadillac.

High mileage Northstar = FTL.

Especially for $4K? That's outrageous.

Edit: Do you have any larger pictures of the 300 in your avatar? The Arnage-esque headlights are annoying me, I need to see them in full effect.

Are ya'll stupid? A N* lasts well into the 300k with the only main issue being head gaskets, depending on years. Anyways a Deville SLS does not exist.

I always herd that the northstar engines didnt even get broken in till about 100k. i was going to be a high millage caddy a few years ago and all the research i did said those engines run forever if properly maintained.

I don't know of any with electrical problems that weren't caused by something. (Only 1 I know of, and it's because it got flooded, n it's not even that bad, just the lights like to play magic buttons lol). Oil leaks slightly after a while, nothing major though. If you get your oil changed every 3k you shouldn't even have to worry about it. If you don't got the small leak, you can go 9-10k without a change.

check the oil pan gasket....if those leak you will have to raise the motor to get to it or atleast i did when i replaced mine in my eldo, don't know if its any different in a seville

its a 94 with 70k NOT 170k
