a run in with a cop on the average of once a month for 2 years.. not sure what you are doing, but you are doing it wrong.

I have been wondering for a long time, when did it transition from cops HELPING the citizens to cops RAPING the citizens? Thats what it feels like nowadays. They are looking for every possible way to screw over their own citizens (at least the ones I encounter)

Police were started to protect and serve take a bullet for you.. they are no better than you. Now its like they are looking for a reason to shoot at you or get you into trouble, ticketing you left and right. And they always think they are waaay better than you. Huge egos

Try to see a cop take a bullet for somebody here, yeah right

But, who would want to live in a world with out police? (iraq..afghanistan)

Well, I can say that knowing a few of them,I can understand why being a (an A S S ).One thing..Long Hours, The pay really sux,Pension isnt what its said to be,all the Hott Gear/heavy gear having to wear/shoes,Being a Ref.among Domestic Disturbances(mainly over BS)and dealing with loud /Smart A S S Dope heads, that weigh 95lbs that think they are Chuck Lidell, and hearing the same excuses several times daily, and trying to be nice with a smile to a real Smart a s s for the 20th time of the day, Gives me good reason to have a loss of patience, and tired @ the end of my long day/week.Several of them were actually ex military also,and still in that zone you know?I couldnt do that job man..deal with smart a s s es all day and babysit people, or be around Crack smokers/needle sharing/exposed individuals, list goes on man.Id prob just do drive byes and continue on ..LOL! Ya I dont have that kind of patience man.Id prob just Zip tie you to the steering wheel, door handles or ? and take the next call, and finish my day out man.

very true, and I bet you half the people with guns here are or will be felons. What I am trying to say is criminals will get guns if they want them simple as that. If every law abiding citizen had a gun, most criminals would think twice before doing a home invasion or robbing a store with a few people carrying concealed.

actualy alamance county probably takes the cake. Having lived there, it's full of rednecks with guns that don't like to be fucked with, it probably has a lower crime rate than most counties in north carolina.

I know the feeling. I got caught drinking in a dorm and the cops came in, ripped all my posters off teh wall, all my clothes out of the dresser, dumped out my desk drawers, backpack, storage bin, EVERYTHING into a huge pile in the center of the room. All because he thought I had weed, without reason to believe I did. This same cop drew a gun on a kid that got in a fight, after the fight was over and they were both 10 yards apart. He proceded to slam the kid on the pavement (who was not resisting) and then put his knee on his head splitting his head open on the concrete. I saw the whole thing the cop didnt come out till it was already over. Campus police are the worst.

its legal for them to do that its called probable cause and they don't have to fix or replace anything they destroy even if you did nothing but if they found anything considered probable they can seize every asset you have

i know its legal for them to do that. but walking on my bed with there muddy boots come on, there was no reason for them to do that. all they found was a half ounce of weed that was my roomates personal weed and is not illigal to have here in canada. they had the 2 head narcotic officers in manitoba come out for the bust, they pretty much just laughed at the local cops cuz there were supost to find so much cocaine. they told them that they wasted ther time and left back to winnipeg.
