first competition car was in play in the late 80s. My best friend was a national IASCA first place winner. He has so many trophies that are six feet tall, that he doesn't have enough room to store them. I never competed on that level, but have designed and made some bad *** systems over the years.
I have been working as a sound engineer for almost 20 years. For the last 9 years I have been working at one of the world's largest pro audio companies. We build the world's largest digitally steerable loudspeaker arrays, best selling mixers and bass amplifiers. I am responsible for all of our sourcing, so I spend months overseas working with audio factories that build amplifiers, some of which have names that are quite familiar to people here.
I am due to build another car system, and just bought a Dodge Mega Cab truck. It looks like it might get a system in it soon. Thinking about Pioneer/Silver flute/Scan-Speak/Fountek/JBL/Sundown.
