Ok, i am asking people who have had experience/purchased from Excessive Amerage Alternators, as well as his customer service. We already know about IceTeeBone, we don't need another 15+pages about his situation.

I bought mine from them, havent installed it yet but it took 3weeks-4 weeks to get my 2 week alternator.

i've had mine for close to a year, its still going strong, however the idle voltage has always been on the low side, around 11.5 volts when at 650-700 rpm like i keep it for that lopey idle.

once its over 900 or so its dead steady at 14.4 even with the vr2000d, and that thing draws some current. need a smaller pulley i guess.

i've had mine since like february......works great....voltage never goes below 13.2 but it never goes above 13.6 either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif .......but that might be because of the pulley

i dont doubt yours is ****ed up, but mine was from the group buy and seems ok.

of course he has made good alts, but that doesn't make mine better. i know this thread is in reference to my thread. when someone gets a good alt they are gonna post and say hey my alt works fine, iceteebone is just an *******. i know he did make good alts from the GB but that doesn't fix mine

I got mine from last years group buy. Works great for over a year.

Now on my customer servise from Nate...

I didnt read carefully enough about the 700-750rpm turn on. My truck idles at 550rpm. Nate offered to fix it so it would charge at my low idle speed even though it was clearly my fault.

I paid shipping to him, he paid shipping back to me, I got it back in a week and its been going strong ever since. ~115a @ idle and ~260a @ 2krpm.

I bought mine from Nathan last yr. just before Christmas time I think. He was pretty cool with me after emailing him about a price quote for a 200 ampere one. I told him I'd have to wait about 2-3 wks before I had the full total so that I can buy it. Even though he said that was the sale price, he still gave me the sale price...since the prices were good through the end of the month. SO....he worked with me on it. I got it within a week I'd say.
