who here uses a portable a/c

yeah i already talked it over with my parents. they have some kinda plan with the electric company where they have the same payment every month all year. it works out so that in when a lot of electricity is used in the summer, the payment is buffered by the smaller amount used in the winter time. so i wont ever have to worry about how often i keep it on.
Hmm...Skip the A/C and start cultivating lots and lots of cannabis

I lawled. "It's not a rich area, more middle class" HA! I've never met a person who admits they're rich. Everyone wants to be "middle class". Okay, if you're not allowed to mow your own lawn and there's freaking VISITOR PARKING, I'll let you in on a little hint: you're rich. Don't be ashamed, be thankful.

Watercool your computer.

And get outside and off the **** computer.
i dont want to watercool it. for price of watercooling, i could get an a/c unit and keep my WHOLE ROOM cool, not just my computer.

oh and a fyi, i do get out.

WHere do people get the idea that's rich? It's definitely well off, but certainly not rich.

If power consumption is not a concern, I don't see a reason not to get it. I still vote a well placed fan, or even two. Two fans would still use less air than a compressor plus the fan plus whatever kind of temp monitoring system that thing has.
