Who Here has had HERNIA SURGERY??

ahhaha yea i was thinking the same thing about a big belly for a 5 5 150lb guy hahaha.

my nerves got cut thats why it feels weird.

my workmans comp adjuster tried denying everything even doctors appt. its their jobs, they dont like handing out money.

sue your job, tell them to **** off.

i got a check because it happened at work, this is the thing most workers dont know.

ANY time you get cut into, because of a work related injury, theres supposed to be a check coming to you.

when i asked my adjuster about it, he said we dont tell people that until they bring it up.

well now since i have this sac of water down there still, i get even more money.

that settlement check is supposed to cover the ags for going abck and forth to the doctor, work missed, diminished capacity. get a lawyer, thats what i am doing.

i called a work comp lawyer and he said he could get me a couple grand, at the least. he gets 20%, and i dont give him shit until i get paid.

my adjuster offered me 1k. so even after the 20% to the lawyer im walking away with more than what the adjuster first wanted to settle on.

same thing happened with my dad. after he went to court about it, the judge ended up saying it wasnt enough money, and made them give him more.

he had shoulder surgery and got 25k, in a check to him.

obviously, since your the gym freak, you decided to come in here and boast. this isnt a whey protein advertisement. discuss hernia, not your struggles for sympathy.

I've never had a hernia, but I have had surgery on my stomach.

Had to get my appendix, and a piece of fatty tissue that was attached to my intestine wall, it twisted and killed circulation and basically died, removed when I was about 11.

I have like a 6 inch scar, and still to this do I have little to no feeling around that area. Just feels like a weird sensation when someone touches it.

pioneerpimp I did not come here to boast and my username has nothing to do with lifting weights and if you knew me you would understand why, I was severely obese growing up and had all these injuries trying to lose weight, and yes the hernia was the hardest to deal with and have a huge scar from it. no sympathy needed.

Indeed. I was told that the big *** patch made makes you bionic and you never have to worry about another hernia in that area again. At least that part was cool.
yea thats what the doc told me.. so I guess thats cool...they don't even repair where the intestine broke through the wall

Few reasons why my stomach looks so big, (and no im not *****, just wanted to get the lower cut in the pic...

1. I can't stand up straigh and breath relaxed so it looks like im pushing my stomach out, and

2.. I was thinkin the same thing when I took the pic... it does make it look like i have a huge stomach, hahah, I dunno...actually I have some pics I used on MySpace.. these are as of 8 Months ago....funny thing is I havent worked out in 8 months and I still weigh the same.....proves muscle weighs more than fat...

i can tell my back is weak from sitting on the couch for the last 5-6 days just from sitting on the computer now.

UPDATE: DAY 7... Not feeling any difference from yesterday. Kinda disappointed...it is only 1030am but... still sucks. Still can't laugh as of late last night... can't sleep on my left side at all, right side is discomforting... I can actually lay on my stomach though

UPDATE: DAY 8. well I was feeling a little better by the end of last night.. i said in the morning I wasnt feeling much better, but that was only 6hrs after I had gone to bed the night before... ANYWAY, im feelin a LOT better today.. I can walk upright without pain... I can lay on my stomach and right sides, but still not the left side.. Still hurts to twist to wipe my *** (sucks), but other than that, takin it day by day.. .Oh.. still uncomfortable to laugh, and still HURTS to cough (tried smokin a lil today... held it for to long, heh heh)

DAY 9: Still can't sleep on my stomach or left side... I have realized that from walking around the last 8 days hunched over, and keeping my stomach still when I breath (instead of letting my stomach puff out.....especially sucks when yawning or taking deep breaths) that my sternum hurts... Now that I can straighten my back again I started to feel a weird pain in my sternum... besides that... can ALMOST laugh completely... can cough soft... hopefully tomorrow will improve a little more

Had the same exact surgery! Sucked probably one of the worst hurt laughing or moving at all. I was out of work about a month.

What do they have you on? I think I was on like 5mg of oxy 2x daily and 10mg percs every 6 hours or something.
