I just got a sWR9902.

It's a two channel A/B amplifier.

500 RMS X 2 at 4 ohm

1000 RMS X 2 at 2 ohm?

Has anybody heard any good things about this bad boy?

Like weather or not it will really do 1000 RMS at 2 ohm for both channels.

I just picked it up for 110 bucks.

well audiobahn is kind of shitty.... but IDK, some of the reviews about swiss I read are mixed, and the model i got nobody has seemed to use......

well, i run an sdx2000a. bought from a fellow ca.com member!(thanks again thegreatestpenn!) and he said it was benched at 2063 or so watts, so i say the rating is about spot on!

and i have to say it is pretty efficient, as i only have one extra battery in the back, and 1/0 big 3 and wiring. never gets hot either! makes the ole american bass vfl get up and dance!

Good to know. i will try and run some 1000 RMS subs from it. I think maybe some 15"s. What's a good dual 4 ohm or single 2 ohm 15 that will hit like no other?

I guess I will have to find out the hard way. I'll try running 2 10" alpien type R's at 2 ohm per channel (1k) see if they can handle it.

are you trying to get a final 2 ohm load? or a 1 ohm load?

I think your trying to get 1 ohm from 2 subs? in that case you could use D1, Svc 2, D4's. I personlt would use 2 15" Fi D1 SSD's with the copper coil, and probably the BP power.

Here's the specs so just in case the way i word it confuses you m8.

Its 1000 RMS X 2 @ 2 ohm.

SO 2 woofers each dual 4 ohm or dual 1 ohm or single 2 ohm. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
