who has built your own motor...

i have rebuilt several toyota 22re motors.....lowly 4 cylinders but they are like legos. rebuilt a 4.0v6 explorer motor after i blew it up on my friend during a snow chase.(im never gonna live that 1 down. thats why i call them exploders now). rebuilt the 1970 lt1 that my dad was driving in his suburban, god rest its soul. i miss that truck. my brother and i did a complete build on his .030 over 350 in his camaro(89rs). that one was a 350 forged crank from another motor, stock rods, KB 9.5 pistons, 2.02/160 heads that had been lightly ported, performer rpm intake and a modded to770 holley 750 vac secondaries. im sure ive done more but i cant remember alzheimers is setting in.

Ive re-built a few sb's

305 chevy...basic rebuild

355ci chevy, full roller, forged bottom end, with some 10.5:1 domes, 488/510....edelbrock air-gap with a street demon....still sitting in my garage tore apart //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Was in my Iroc

306ci ford, f-cam, gt-40, blah...buddies 5.slow rustang

351C for a 54 ford p/u

done alot of work on my buddies 01 ss camaro as well...

I've rebuilt a few engines.................

And really "BUILT" a couple engines............ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Mostly Ford Engines

302's primarily- several of them. Also a 4.6, a couple of 2.3's - N/A and Turbo, a 390, a pair of 351's, and a 2.0.

I've done the typical Chevy 350 in a carb'd, TPI, MPI, and Vortech, setups.

Also worked on a pair of Chevy 454's and their 2.3, 3.8, engines.

Worked on a Dodge 318, 360, 383, 440, and the 2.2 & 2.5 engines.

Those are my primary ones; or at least the ones I'll admit to. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

My favorite engine to build and work on is still by far the Ford 302. (5.0)

Well I've done plenty of parts on my car, no tearing into the engine.

Right now Im building a funny car engine with this guy I just met. Next week the blower comes, and then we build the block and the spare over the next 2 weeks. Really going to be an awesome experience. Im learning so much and its **** awesome.

Literally, its going to be up there with sex in my book.

I mean I can rebuild any other type of motor, and its just a motor..but to put together a 3500hp machine is just a dream come true. I still am in denial.

I wanna ask if I can take pics.

actually, there is high grade octane, methanol, and Nitromethane...just different levels...but they make it in octane up to 116. The rest are higher mixes, for alcohol, etc.

Right now my dad and I are building my 347 for my Mustang. Everything is sitting there just need some time to put it together. 347 Dart Block, forged internals, AFR 185 heads, custom grind cam, and a RPM 2 intake (ported to match heads). Drivetrain is set for the power. I will have an 8:1 compression for whenever I save enough money up to buy a turbo kit from PTK.

I use these and they work great. I splice them right before the LOC. One leg on the negative the other on the positive.

My 1964 fender vibroverb. It’s a tube amp for guitar. It has broken many times. But it is a serviceable amp. I can fix it.
