I just picked one up the other day and love it. This is coming from a diehard playstation fan too.

What games you got Mike? I have the new Tombraider(legend),Pg3 and Ghost Recon. All of them are off the chain. Could be my new tv helping. HD gaming FTW!

if you have xbox life you'd have purchased a kit starter kit or purchased it on a monthly basis, if u are interested in live, i'd suggest getting the starter kit, it also gives you like 20% off of a game. i currently have kameo, call of duty2, ghost recon. probably get my 50" dlp in another month or 2. then i'll really be enjoying the 360.

I was however reading this card that came with the system saying I have a free 48 hour trail period for the xbox live. So I may try that, but it says something on the lines of I have to be a silver card member, what ever that means. Maybe you might know Mike. I would love to try it out and if I like it would get it. i got it and got xbox live free for 1 month just by signing up for the silver version and my homeboy said everytime your month is up just change ur xbl name and get another month for free , any one wanna race in mw or fight in fn holla

me personaly i spent the 70 bux or whatever for the starter kid which is a one yr subscription. now if you dont want to pay it all at once you can set it up to come out of a cc i believe. and it'll bill you monthly. i havent played graw other than for about 5 mins yet. been playing mostly cod2 on live. if it was me i'd have spent the little extra for the hardrive tho. definatly worth it if u dont want to buy memory cards.
