Who has an "uninstalled" Eclipse HU? (help needed)

I need to know the order of colors that are in the (16 pin connector) wiring harness of an Eclipse HU. I lost mine on an old eclipse I have and plan to solder directly to the pinout in back of the HU for the 5 wires. I have done this before, just need the right info first.

Most are all the same for their models, some just have more wires for speaker outputs, which I don't need.

-red

-black

-orange

-yellow

-blue

If you have this laying around your house let me give you a quick call to ask for the info...thanks.

i'll say what they usually are from top head, but DON'T BUY MY WORDS YET, chances are Eclipses wires are set differently, who knows

-yellow is battery wire it must have constant connection directly to the 12v+ of the battery

-red is the switch on wire, it must have connection to a 12v+ source, before you can turn the hu on (if you want you can wire this to the ACC ignition key so it can only be turned on when the ignition is on, or you can wire it together with the yellow wire and wire both to the 12v+ of the battery, in this case not needing to turn the electrical ignition on to operate the radio)

-orange is the illumination wire as far as i remember, you connect it to the lights so when you have lights on inside the car it dims out the hu buttons and visor illumination

-black is the ground, must be connected permanently to the negative of the battery or to a safetly grounded place

-blue is either remote turn on switch which goes to the remote input of the amp or the pwer antenna

this is what it usually is, but i've seen so many weird hus with wires with weird colors, so dont trust my opinion until someone confirms... i may have made some mistake also in some wires lol

I'M REALLY SORRY...I should have been more clear. I know what each color is for, but I need the order they are in, in the plastic connector that plugs into the back of the deck. I don't have the plug anymore, so I'm having to solder directly to the head unit circuit board.

Just take a spin to a dealer, and check out the wiring harness... or ... buy another harness. They are cheap.
True, but my local eclipse dealer is LESS THAN UNDERSTANDING even though I have spent over $2300 there just in the last year in custom labor (which sucked).

As for buying another off ebay, I could, but I have access to a soldering station and 10 years experience so I might as well use it for something.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I've done it before, it only takes a few minutes and looks clean when used w/ heat shrink.

i have an eclipse cd5425 that isnt installed...i can look and let you know but by the time i come back on..somebody else will probably have already helped you..pm me saturday if you still need to know and ill look on mine before i get back on sunday night.
COOL! P/M me your phone # so I can just call you with the quick question...thanks.

As for Alpine, yes my alpine HU does have all this pinout info, but eclipse doesn't give this info. Only thing it says is what color wire does, does what. I need to know the what color wire that goes to what exact pin in the connector.

I would personaly spend the 15 dollars and buy the connector. You not only void any warranty but there are more chances that the deck will become damaged. Soldering directly to a circuit board raises the risk of lifting a pad from too much heat. Another issue with a hard wire joint to the connector is possibilities of a fractured joint. Anytime you have a solder joint on a area that gets alot of flexing there is the possibility of fractures. Not only can the wire and connector joint shatter from stress but so can the connector. As your wires are shifted around, the connector pin will absorb all the stress and displace it onto the circuit board.
