false... My samsung tv , BR player and Captivate phone were some of the best quality electronics ive ever owned....Given Samsung's track record its going to be a piece of garbage that you spend loads of cash on for no good reason.
Awe 2 people had a good experience.false... My samsung tv , BR player and Captivate phone were some of the best quality electronics ive ever owned....
yep.. me and the other dude on ca.com are the only ones who have ever had a good experience with samsung.... right..Awe 2 people had a good experience.
Must be based on your two experiences in this very thread. Thats already been covered as well, but I guess you also failed to read as well as understand basic statistical facts.yep.. me and the other dude on ca.com are the only ones who have ever had a good experience with samsung.... right..
Sounds like your hating.. hater
prove me wrong.. Show me stats that backs up your claim.. Last time I checked 10+ reviewers they said it was top notch quality, with some of the best PQ anywhere...Must be based on your two experiences in this very thread. I dont need stats. Read reviews, look at their returns, customer service rankings, etc. Quite clear they arent top notch. TV's that stop working after 5 months, phones that lag after a month of use, phones that are glitchy and buggy, physical quality thats lacking due to cheap plastics, etc.prove me wrong.. I searched for months on hidefforum, and AVS, before I bought My A750.....
Say what you want, but when people actually comment on the pic quality of a f'n TV.... Im pretty happy
Thats the way technology works... How do you think other companies feel when they have new advanced features, that get taken by Apple, and done better... Its called innovation... Everyone is gonna copy everyone in todays technology eraI dont need stats. Read reviews, look at their returns, customer service rankings, etc. Quite clear they arent top notch. Phone = TV Awesome
I was referring to Samsungs quality as an entire company, mostly in the cell market compared to other vendors. Either way still not that good of a brand. They used to make top notch TV's a few years ago then again so did Sony. Seems they like to follow in each others paths.
Of course. That's the beauty of innovation. Would you rather we be stuck with landline phones?Fuck these phone companies.....might as well stick with what you have because they will release a newer version of it a year later....and again...and again.....and again......i don't see much more that needs upgrading......as long as i can surf the web....play music....and call/text.....i'm good.....if you do anymore than that....then your a faggot........
I don't think you understand...I work for AT&T, and I have had more people come in with issues with their HTC's, Apple's, Motorola's, and LG's than Samsung. That's not just MY opinion, that's the opinion of the hundreds of people I meet everyday with phone issues. I'm pretty sure I'm very qualified to say that Samsung is NOT shit.Awe 2 people had a good experience.
Not to defend samsung here. But I'm sure you see alot more of the others come back, because there is a shitload more of them out there. Pretty surethe iPhone is by far the best selling phone of all time by a few million aloneI don't think you understand...I work for AT&T, and I have had more people come in with issues with their HTC's, Apple's, Motorola's, and LG's than Samsung. They don't have issues with their OS. The GPS issue was hardware related. They couldn't fix it without recalling the entire lineup. No company would be willing to do so. Take Apple for instance...Did they recall all of their iPhone 4's for the antenna issue?Pretty sure you failed to get my point. With Samsung's recent phone lineup they all have issues with the OS. Whats the point of having this great phone if Samsung cant "tweak" the OS right to take advantage of that? You can have all the hardware in the world, but if its not usable then what? Thats like driving a Lambo in down town Chicago rush hour.
fixt...remove the backslash off your link
This is true. But we did sell a ton of Captivates as well. Not to defend samsung here. But I'm sure you see alot more of the others come back, because there is a shitload more of them out there. Pretty surethe iPhone is by far the best selling phone of all time by a few million alone
CNet is a CBS production. Hardly a reliable source. Find an unbiased ranking.http://reviews.cnet.com/best-high-definition-tvs/\
Gee your right... I dont see one samsung in the top list
See now your putting words in my mouth. I never once said anything about HTC in this thread ever. You can play it off like your not biased, but you said yourself that the phones rose up past your expectations. Thats putting your bias into the matter. They don't have issues with their OS. The GPS issue was hardware related. They couldn't fix it without recalling the entire lineup. No company would be willing to do so. Take Apple for instance...Did they recall all of their iPhone 4's for the antenna issue?
The power-off issue WAS fixed with an OS tweak. The phone is waaay more than usable.
I still don't see why you can herald HTC as an awesome company when they have built only 2 good phone platforms to date? You tell me that Samsung can't just do an about-face and turn into a phone company within a year, while HTC did so in the same timeframe? IIRC, the Evo came out in Summer. That was the first non-shitty HTC phone. The Incredible may have come out earlier, I can't remember. Samsung released their Galaxy S devices, at least to AT&T, in Fall.
So both companies have gone from shit to shine in one year, but you can't seem to appreciate Samsung's effort? Right before the Captivate came out, I was an iDouche. I praised the iPhone 4. When the Captivate came out, I scoffed at it. But after I gave it a chance, I noticed that it was a really good phone. I also noticed that everyone who bought one never came back complaining. Everytime someone with a Captivate would stop by our store, I would ask them if they had had any issues with their phones. It took me 3 MONTHS to hear of just one complaint. All the while, iPhones were funneling in with their slew of issues, and for the few who purchased the HTC Tilt, they were ready to burn the phone in hell.
It's pretty evident that Samsung deserves credit where it's due. I take things in a non-biased approach. Sure, I was an iPhone nuthugger before the Droid phase started. But all the other phones out there just plain sucked. HTC was terrible, Samsung was meh, LG was horrible, Pantech was abysmal, Motorola was ancient, etc. I saw Samsung, HTC, and Pantech rise up and surpass my expectations by the end of 2010.
