thats sound about right to a tad high, around 250 would be a fair price for most of the old school 250 series, in real good condition, unless new in box or super mint might bring few more dollars. but then there are times when you could get hooked up on a super good deal, meaning low prices,. like i bought couple under 100 dollars, one was the 250r and the other was a 250hcca digital ref. model and they were in real good condition.

The Digital Reference were solid amps, but were not the peak of the series. The other series of 250s are pretty hard to find and in my experience fetch a pretty good price in excellent condition. I wouldn't consider buying one in other than excellent cosmetic condition. People that take car of the amps cosmetically tend not to abuse them.

Thats true.

Digital Reference series was the amp I am currently buying.

Sounds like a lot for the Digital Ref series. I'd gladly pay that much for a pop-top in excellent condition though. That seems to be the hardest one to find and that is what series all my 225s and my 425 are.
