Lol, andrew finally says more than one broken sentance. I wasnt going to post anything bad about his equipment, but since andrew's hot temper is showing here, i'll explain some things for you all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Andrew came up to me about a year or so ago, and wanted someone to help him promote his amplifiers here in america since everytime he posted about them he got laughed at on termpro and on this fourm. Mainly because he didnt even know how his amplifier performed and when people asked him about it he could just barely babble off something incoherient. You can even look at one of these threads :

So he got ahold of me on AIM and we started talking about his amps, and what he wanted to do here in the usa. Thats great, alot of people come up to me with ideas and share them with me and I just take it with a grain of truth. He suggested that he'd send me two amplifiers to run at the MECA state finals/db drag finals for 07 and I said "ok, you're going to send me two amps from england to use....yeah sure." So I agreed if they showed up, that id run them all year and promote them as best I can thru videos, informative posts, talking to perspective buyers thru AIM & email about the product - Basically promoting it without having a single bit of compensation. I dont know how many of you have posted a "for sale" post on the classifieds here, but the ones who have know that you get bombarded by emails on here and even AIM if you have that listed in your email. Now think of that times 100 for people asking me about Adassa equipment at all hours of the day and night. Which is just fine - I did it with no question.
Well, to my surprise...the amplifers showed up a week or so before finals, which just reinforces my efforts to promote his equipment. I paid for vehicle logos, took my time to talk to every single person who came up to me at finals about them - even took the amps apart at the event to show perspective buyers how the amplifiers are built. IMO that was my job at that particular moment since Andrew sent the amps to me. So thats cool, a deal is a deal and I held up that portion of it just fine. The amplifiers performed flawlessly and I popped a pretty good score at the show. And truth be known, Andrew is the one who started the thread here on Ca.com about the event where I posted all the images of the event -

Well all things were fine and dandy till I was daily beating with the volume down low one day while I was picking up parts in Lousiville, when I see and smell smoke comming out of one of the warlords. I was putting it under absolutely no stress, and it smoked. I was like "well, it is a prototype....I know how these things go, and I need to have in amp in place for my next event so I told andrew id ship it back to him to in England to get repaired. Now mind you, this is almost 6 months before the incident that Andrew is trying to get you all to believe happened where I supposedly shorted out the amp (which makes little sense to begin with).
Anyways,I dont know how many of you have ever shipped to england, but shipping alone is $100 to just get there, and I sent Andrew another $200 for repairs to the amp. The amp took 6 months to come back (after almost daily emails to Andrew asking the status of the amp)... I would email him with very explicit questions on what he was doing to either repair the amp (and id pay for it) or send me controller boards to fix it myself (which id still pay for myself just to get the amp running). All I ever got in return is very simple, severly broken english replies that more often then not made absolutely no sense. If I was lucky to even get a return email it was sort of like this one which I just copied and pasted from my gmail acct :
Hi dan they want me to send it back to them I have talk and talk to them about they did it one time for me I am talking to them to day
Regards
I usually looked at that kind of reply and wondered why I was supporting this guy with my money to fix the amps? And the worst of it is, if I suggest people buy these amps and they screw up - will these people be comming to me looking to hang me. The main problem with the amps is that at first the controller board cannot be fixed - it HAS to be sent back to Korea to be repaired since when the OEM sends out the amps they sandblast all the serial numbers off the chips. So I got to thinking - if Andrew starts selling a bunch of these in america, and people have problems with them for whatever reason then they're not going to be able to just call up Audiotekx or Zed and get them to fix it! They'll have to ship it to Andrew, who then ships it to Zenon...and then 6-7 months later you MIGHT get back your amp. I figured this was a bad bad situation and constantly brought it up to Andrew as an issue with him selling equipment in the US. He just told me that the people would have to ship RMA's back to him and thats it. This threw up a big red warning sign to me.
So on with the amps, well after paying a ton of money to ship the amp to england, then to korea, then back to Kentucky - I open the completely tattered and half *** taped together cardboard box it came in, then I installed the amplifier. Guess what? It didnt work for more then 5 minutes at a time!! It would be ok under full load for 1-2 min then start start clipping/going into protect. At that moment I realized that Andrew would never ever have his shit together and it was really unsafe for me to invest my time and money into him nor ever suggest anyone ever buy his equipment again. Its not like I went on some slanderous rampage telling Adassa is crap and dont buy it - I didnt....when people called me up asking about the amps and how they could get them I just said "email andrew and ask....sorry I cant help you."
So I told andrew that the Koreans never fixed the amp correctly, and asked him if I could ship it to a company like Audiotekx to repair it - and even ask Audiotekx if they'd be some sort of RMA repair facility for the amps for other Adassa customers as well. Andrew was furiously opposed to this and said that zenon had to be the only people who touched the amps. Then he wanted me to send the amps BACK to Korea via england again at my expense just so zenon could repair them. I thought this was entirely foolish and so I sent the amplifier to Audiotekx for repair. Here the amp sat for about 4 months till I got a email in mid october saying that they were incapable of repairing the amplifier and had blown it up even more in the process of attempting to repair it. So then the amplifier has been sent off to chris at Db-r for reapirs where its number #10 in line to get repaired. I fully expect the bill to be over $200 for repairs which I will of course pay for so I can get the amp back. So realize that every time it got shipped somewhere else weather it be another state or entire continent I paid for the shipping on a 40 lbs amp. So do you think ive got some cash invested into this by now ?
Personally I think ive paid for the amps just in repairs alone and having to figure out how to fix them on my own. You would of thought that a company that sells a product would at least be able to deal with repair issues. I wonder how he's going to support RMA's of the subs that 2000lade just bought? You should ask 2000lade how long it took for Andrew to even ship those chrome tape subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
And as far as MECA is concerned, I am mistaken with what I posted - MECA UK is the once im talking about since it would only make sense since Adassa is in england. I know they had financial problems with dealing with Andrew and it and there was some money involved in this.
