I donate to this fund that supports the pound. I guess you may call it the rescue mission for animals or something? People can make their own way.

I donate a pretty decent amount to the ronald mcdonald house through work.

I will also donate $5 pretty frequently to charities like the jimmy fund, etc.

And I donate a lot of stuff to the salvation army also.

If you can spare the extra couple bucks, why not. It's good karma...

I donate to one once a month at work so we can wear jeans on Friday. This summer I'm gonna donate some old clothes and shoes.

But about the topic, most of you guys donate to useful charities. Like childrens hospitals and such. I donate stuff to salvation army as well just never seen that as actually donating. I was hoping to see some people in here that donate to things like save the children so i could call them dumbasses. Charities like that are probably the most wasteful ones you could donate too. WTF is giving poor blacks in africa food gonna do but keep them alive longer? Def not gonna get them out of poverty or make their country any better or anything. I say let darwins theory go to work on all those countries.

i smell all kinds of fial on your logic. if we are going by darwin's theory we wouldn't donate to anything at all. There would be no donating to children's hospitals because if the kid can't survive their disease, fux'm they aren't "fit" enough to survive. I could make more examples, but you get the picture.

Im wondering if anyone here donates to any charities like Feed the children.

I do non profit/international humanitarian work for a living. Do not donate anything to feed the children. I have been involved with an international project in partnership with them and it went horribly wrong. PM me if you want and I will give you details and some links about what happened.

Also if you want to know how your money is spent go to guidestar and see how the specific charity you are considering donating to is rated.
