Who donates to charities?

Im wondering if anyone here donates to any charities like Feed the children, Jerries kids, whatever. Just looking to see who donates and whats your reasoning behind it. Whats everyones opinion on various charities and etc? For anyone whos curious, I dont donate to anything, but i bought a homeless guy a starbucks coffee and some pringles once.

my job has a charities drive and I donated to one of the charities on the list a portion of my check every pay period for a year. I am more into volunteering my time than just blindly donating money tho.

and I do it because I'm blessed

I donate plenty of money in taxes every year, it sucks for the poor people that the government is so wasteful with my dollars otherwise they'd probably get more help

We donate to prevent blindness ohio, the fraternal order of police (i like to get that sticker cause it gets you out of tickets, no matter what they say) and I round up every single time I'm at kroger's (helps the hungry in your local area)
