You have made very harsh references to us who believe, your responsible for that, you did not simply ask questions, you tried to make us look like people of lesser intelligence, and push the idea that we are "brainwashed" If you don't think that is judging and attacking you really need to use some of those smarts you have and re-evaluate you ability to debate intelligently.
I also think it is in rather poor taste and cowardly to start a thread like this, say what you have said and not see it to the end. It is typical of someone like you to simply blame others for your actions then run away. You a sad young man, that needs to get some real world education.

I hope you are not trying to imply that I am the OP of this thread, because I am not.

The 10 commandment were written by GOD directly, there are parts of the Bible that are written by God through men, and then there are parts that are written by men for God. The whole Bible is the living word of God! There is not one word that he doesn't want in there, nor is there one word that he wants left out!

Just because the bible was written in perspective of "god" doesn't mean it really is "his" word. Many novels are written in the perspective of another person, yet the story is completely fiction.

I believe in God because it doesn't hurt not to believe....I takes less energy also lol.
I mean, what if there really is a God, you die, and meet him. He then brings up how you argued about him not existing on caraudio.com and sends you to hell? lol

I'm just saying, why take that chance incase he does exist.

Ex.

1. I believe and dont try and prove that he don't exist or force my beliefs on anyone else, and I would get to go to heaven.

2. Or I try proving he doesn't exist and stuff and then he sends me to hell lol.

Basically I'm saying, i'm not taking that chance and screwing myself over if he does exist. It's not like I'm changing my life or anything. I can only gain from believing lol. If he don't exist, then I just end up dead like every1 else. Know what i'm saying?

Since I have not given any background on myself, here is a little:

I used to go to church. LDS in fact. I went every Sunday, and I was baptized into the church. I know what the teachings are. LDS has more BS then regular Christianity. Perhaps that helped me get to where I am today. It has now been more then 11 years sinse I have attended.

Ok, now I have a few real questions:

First, since it has not been answered, what is up with the whole Noah's Ark thing?

Second, Adam and Eve were the first, and only, 2 people on this earth. So they had to have children. This would also mean that there children would have to have children with each other, all the way down the line! If I am not mistaken, isn't ****** strictly forbidden in the bible? Also, science has proven what happens when siblings make babies. The babies turn out to have physical and mental problems. It gets even worse when you keep going with ******. So why, then, do we not have misplaced arms, legs, etc?

Oh, so god just changed the way our traits are passed on to our children after he had already created us. That makes sense.

And this omniscient being wont be able to tell you were only going to church 'just in case'? Believing because it will assure you a spot in the afterlife is not really believing at all. And Im pretty sure an all-knowing being would recognize this. You either need to truly 100% believe there is a God watching down on you, 'feel' him and all that, or you are just living a lie in order to fake your way past the pearly gates. That, imo, should be worse to a christian than being athiest. At least an athiest follows his true beliefs, rather thn live a lie to hedge his bets on the after life.
