I went to catholic school for a couple of words and i truly feel that they are not a good example of the body of christ. Ritual, chanting, and the thought that you can confess and do the same thing over again to only confess and repeat is very odd to me. And what about praying to persons other than Jesus and God

What a lame @ss answer. Just like "I was not created nor can I be destroyed". You cannot answer any of my questions because your only answer it GOD created it. It has been proven that planets are forming over millions of years just like the earth. Is God doing that too (even though it actually happened millions of years ago and we are just now seeing it).

How do you explain the wear of mountains and valleys like the Grand Canyon which took hundered of thousands of years? God did that too?

How about Noah's ark. He could only fit so many animals on there and we now have millions of different species on this earth. Evolution perhaps? Let me guess, your lame @ss answer will be God did it.

Thats what pisses me off the most about this, science proves it but the bible says God did it, in an extremely vague form, so that is the way it is.

Yes the bible was written by man, men in fact. In God's eye, doubt it. It was written to control the masses and raise money. RE said that Catholisism is one of the richest whatevers in ever.

And the world would **** if everything was perfect? um, I think not. I dated a chick who was ***** for 8 years by her fathers best friend while her father slept in the chair next to them. My current GF was ***** by her uncle. I could go on and on. If there was a real God that was going to show again, he would prevent any of this not just "specific" people. Oh thats right, animals **** other animals so **** between humans is ok.

Or you just die and your cells decompose like anything and everything else has ever on this earth and you're never seen or welcomed anywhere again.

What the h#ll r u talking about again? Science does not show the earth was completely covered in water. Again, that is only written in the Bible. The earth how ever has gone through several ice ages. This is known and the great lakes and the fine state of Wisconsin I live in prove this. There are rocks here from Canada. However, this process took 10's of thousands of years as it carved and gouged the earth.

So again, you are avoiding my question with a question and kind of avoiding it all together. The problem with religion is that people believe in only the bible and do not care to expand their minds. The only "proof" they have of science is what they are taught in church or in the propaganda that is spread which twist what science has proven to keep the masses in line with what the guys sitting around a table trying to figure out how to keep the masses in order and raise money wrote. Of course no need to research it any further because "God created it all". Of course, if you had done your math you would know what I state above.

And again with the rain for so long. What r u talking about, sure it is possible h#ll we had 35 straight days of rain and guess what, no flooding lol. The earth getting covered with water is as the polar ice caps melt (over thousands of years) which just so happen to hold enough water in a frozen limbo to almost (not totally) cover the earth. We know this, it is proven. But again, it is not in the bible so it must not be true.

Now, what about oil and diamonds. Oils and diamonds are both created over 100's of thousands of years by pressure of the earth above it. Did God create that too. Man that is an easy answer.

You know a perfect example of how religion works in the minds of the masses is the World Trade Centers. I have a friend that is a welder and another that is an engineer. They both know how metal melts and also how air is displaced. But they both believe that our government blew up the towers since the windows blew out. Heck, there is a movie to prove it (ie' same answer as "God created it"). But of course, even though they both know how metal fatigues with heat and that the windows blew out from the air displacement from the floors above collapsing but it doesn't matter because"God created it"

So, WHEN will my questions get answered with something better then "God created it"

And come to think of it, rain alone could not ever possibly flood the earth. The water we have on this earth is the same water from when it was created. There is only so much, no more, no less. The only way possible to cover the earth with water is for the polar caps to melt.
